Jaguar Australia have joined the Mastercard Hopman Cup as official motor vehicle partner in the tournament’s 30th year.
Globally, Jaguar has a strong relationship with Tennis, holding partnerships with Wimbledon and elite players including Andy Murray, Milos Raonic and Kei Nishikori. The Mastercard Hopman Cup is an exciting addition to Jaguar’s sponsorship portfolio, with its unique country versus country format capturing the attention of fans throughout Australia and the world.
“We are extremely excited to be partnering with the Mastercard Hopman Cup. We believe the tournament is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the Jaguar brand and extend Jaguar’s global footprint in tennis,” said Tim Krieger, General Manager – Communications and Public Relations, Jaguar Land Rover.
“Tennis is a perfect fit for Jaguar to align with. On the court, as it is on the road, performance is viewed as an art form to be admired.”
Jaguar will supply luxury and high performance vehicles to support tournament operations, ensuring players and officials arrive to the venue in both comfort and style, ready to perform on the court.
Mastercard Hopman Cup Tournament Director Paul Kilderry added: “We are very pleased to welcome Jaguar to the Mastercard Hopman Cup family.”
“Jaguar has a strong association with tennis around the world and this new partnership is particularly fitting given the Hopman Cup’s unique mixed teams format.
“To partner with an iconic luxury car maker like Jaguar emphasises the strength of the Mastercard Hopman Cup brand as one of Australia’s highest profile tennis events, and we look forward to working closely with the Jaguar team.”
Fans attending the Mastercard Hopman Cup will be able to engage with Jaguar via a series of activations aimed at bringing the public closer to the roar of tennis and offering an opportunity to view the growing range of Jaguar’s SUV’s, including an exclusive first opportunity for consumers to see the all new E-Pace on Australian soil.
The E-Pace will be officially revealed at the Mastercard Hopman Cup New Year’s Eve Gala and will be on display at the Jaguar marquee from 1 January until the end of the tournament. This will be the first time the vehicle will be on display in Australia. The E-Pace is set for release in Australia in March.
The Mastercard Hopman Cup will take place at Perth Arena from December 30 – January 6.
