I-PACE ARRIVES WITH A FIVE YEAR WARRANTY

Jaguar’s all-electric I-PACE will bring a revolutionary ownership experience.

I-PACE, the car that has rewritten the automotive rule book, will go on sale with a full five-year warranty, two years more than the period currently offered for any of its conventional Jaguar stablemates.

The extended warranty will be backed by a five-year service plan and matching five-years Roadside Assistance plan which, like the warranty, are both two years longer than anything previously offered by the British car maker.

The I-PACE’s battery, made of 432 pouch cells positioned beneath the cabin floor, is also covered by an extensive eight-year, 160,000-kilometre warranty.

New from the wheels up, Jaguar’s first-ever electric car takes styling influences from the company’s revolutionary C-X75 supercar concept.

The clean sheet design gave I-PACE’s designers and engineers unprecedented freedoms to create a car with a dramatic cab-forward profile, unique proportions and exceptional interior space.

Jaguar has long been known for its aluminium vehicle construction and I-PACE continues that, utilising Jaguar’s new aluminium Electric Vehicle architecture.

It is the most torsionally-rigid structure in Jaguar’s storied history and underscores that with a perfectly balanced 50:50 front-rear weight distribution.

The luxurious and technically innovative interior has several useful storage features.

A flat floor gives space for a 10.5-litre central compartment, storage compartments beneath the rear seats and a 656-litre rear load space.

Using the latest technology, I-PACE features the new Touch Pro Duo infotainment system combining touchscreens, sensors and physical controls to operate the car’s key functions.

Two central console-mounted touchscreens separate information and interactive controls.

A full-colour Head-Up Display (HUD) projects key driving information, including vehicle speed, onto the windscreen in front of the driver.

All the operating technology is supported by a 12-inch display screen behind the steering wheel in lieu of a conventional instrument panel.

Jaguar’s first all-electric car will also carry-on the company’s performance traditions.

A 90kWh lithium-ion battery pack gives I-PACE’s two synchronous permanent magnet electric motors an impressive 294 kilowatts of power and 696 Nm of torque.

Controlled independently and able to adapt I-PACE’s front-rear balance to suit prevailing road conditions, the Jaguar-designed motors can rocket the car from standstill to 100km/h in just 4.8-seconds and deliver a 470km driving range.

I-PACE also has several charging options.

A 100kW rapid charging point will give 80 per cent battery capacity in 40 minutes or add 100km driving range in 15 minutes.

Home or office charging using an AC wall box gives 80 per cent battery capacity in 10 hours and even the car’s regenerative braking system puts energy into the batteries.
