AUSSIE SCOTT SHEARMAN PURCHASES SIR WILLIAM LYONS HOME

Scott Shearman is an Australian racing car enthusiast and S.S. Jaguar 100 owner who flies under the radar.  No more however if you are a Jaguar devotee.

We were informed (name no mentioned, but you know who you are JR!) perhaps six months ago that an Aussie Jaguar owner was in the process of acquiring the former home of Jaguar’s founder Sir William Lyons.  Located just out of the village of Wappenbury near Leamington Spa, Wappenbury Hall was purchased by the Lyons family in 1937 and remained in their ownership until the passing of Lady Lyons in 1985.

Now the news can be made public, and we believe Scott is very sympathetic to making the famous grand home and working farm more accessible to Jaguar devotees.

More details as they can be revealed, but next to Jaguar Land Rover buying the property, the news could not be better.

The story will be in our next edition – yes, you should subscribe to Jaguar Magazine!
