The much-vaunted 'Top Gear Live' show in Sydney was a sensation for car and entertainment fans, with one of the star cars being Mike Roddy's 1985 James Hardie 1000 Bathurst winning JRA TWR XJ-S. 

The fabulously historic and original car was displayed in a special section of the event, along with a host of other Bathurst winners, plus the colourful Kevin Bartlett Chevrolet Camaro which rolled at 'The Mountain' in a well documented crash.

Mike said he was delighted to have his car included in the display alongside a raft of Peter Brock Holden Commodores, and Dick Johnson's True Blu Falcon, Alan Moffatt's Falcon Hardtop and Jim Richards' winning Nissan GTR 'Godzilla'. 

However, he was surprised the Jaguar and Nissan headed the line-up and received maximum exposure to the tens of thousands of visitors.
