With the surprise departure of former Jaguar CEO David Smith in early January, the Company has announced not one but two new CEOs.
One will head Tata Motors and all of its businesses, the other will take over at Jaguar and Land Rover.
Former General Motors Co. executive Carl-Peter Forster has been named as Group CEO. English-born Forster, 55, will be responsible for Tata Motors' global operations including Jaguar Land Rover.

He stepped down as GM Europe President and Opel/Vauxhall Chairman after criticising GM for reversing a decision to sell Opel to Magna International Inc. and Russia's Sberbank.
Then in late February 54 year old Dr. Ralf Speth was revealed as Jaguar Land Rover's new CEO with overall responsibility for the Company's operations. He will report to Carl-Peter Forster.
Dr. Speth has over 22 years experience in the European auto industry, most of which was at BMW where he was Vice President, Land Rover. He was Director Production, Quality and Product Planning at Ford's PAG - which included Jaguar.
